Being in the wedding industry means that I get to experience so many different types of weddings, but I don’t think there are any as sweet as the wedding of one of your best friends. Mary and I met our freshman year of college, and after a weekend road trip with mutual friends, and spent the 3 years that followed as roommates and best friends. And all these years later, getting to experience the love that her and Nathan share is so, so sweet. One year later, I still can’t fully describe how much I loved getting to contribute to their wedding day.
Mary and Nate’s February wedding was the perfect mix of cozy and light. Sunlight flooded the North Park Lodge during the day, shining beautifully on tables, set with bud vases filled with shades of light greenery and white florals. As the sun set on their wedding the bistro lighting and candlelight filled the lodge with coziness and warmth. The stationery featured modern fonts mixed with playful calligraphy. My favorite piece that I provided for them was the seating chart cards that were hung from a copper stand with silk ribbon, along with their hanging welcome sign. The entire day was just so perfectly them.
Mary + Nathan’s day was one to remember, and one that I will cherish forever and ever.
